Case Study - Ricardo Graduate Recruitment
Our client required 30 graduates to join their two year graduate training scheme. The requirements were for a range of Mechanical, Electronic, Software and Control Engineering Graduates to work in a variety of specialist departments at 3 sites across the UK (Brighton, Cambridge and Warwick).
The project was made challenging by a number of factors. It was already late May and the client wished to carry out assessment days in June and July.
We worked with the client to draw up an action plan and set appropriate dates for 10 assessment days. Assessment days were designed and an attraction programme launched that included the following activities in addition to direct advertising. We set filters to source candidates from our extensive database and targeted specific universities to source further CVs via established contacts. As the client was in a position to recruit UK, EU and foreign nationals, the Graduate Team was also tasked with speaking to candidates from Europe and the Far East. In all, the initial CV count was approximately 1000.
We successfully filled all the vacancies on the project in the short timescale available.
