Since January 2006, we have worked with Mouchel to implement a managed service agreement. We manage their recruitment of contract staff and all permanent non-technical staff throughout the UK and manage their preferred supplier list for technical permanent staff, where our Group are large recruiters.

We are Mouchel’s recruitment partner and ensure that their requirements are met in a timely and effective manner, whilst sourcing the best candidates in the market.

The challenge

Mouchel is a diverse international business with high volume recruitment requirements that cover a wide range of generalist and niche industries. Therefore, their supply chain has to source candidates across this landscape and remain motivated to work with Mouchel on long term requirements.

Mouchel sought cost savings and process efficiencies across their business to meet their financial budgets and, through the Group’s proven capability to supply, we were asked to provide a solution to meet these challenges.


The solution

We designed and delivered a robust and scalable solution, able to cope with Mouchel’s volume, variety of skill sets and UK-wide coverage. Our proven recruitment model has reduced time-to-hire and exceeded strict Service Level Agreements to improve the efficiency of Mouchel’s recruitment process. This was achieved by our management of an audited supply chain; vetting agencies on their capability to supply in specialist industries nationwide.

We also provided Mouchel with a dedicated client relationship team with clear points of contact for all their requirements. The client relationship team provides Mouchel with clear visibility of volume, cost and source of their entire workforce through bespoke management information reports, driving further cost savings and efficiencies throughout the contract.
